Worship the King. Grow the Kingdom

Many years ago one of our members, Carol Dyanti, became aware of the deep need to meet the tragedy and challenges faced by children affected by HIV and AIDS. Carol began the Ikageng Itireleng AIDS Ministry in Soweto to assist chid-headed households and those affected by HIV. Trinity have partnered with Ikageng Itirileng and been significantly involved in this ministry from the beginning.

Our congregation not only support Ikageng Itireleng through prayer, but we are also very involved in many of the practical aspects of its running. Various members of Trinity have served on the Ikageng Itireleng Board, have volunteered time and expertise to help with accounting and running various project with them and regularly spending time visiting the staff and those being supported by the project.

Many of our members get involved in the most practical way possible – filling a box with non-perishable food and dropping it at the church for collection by Ikageng Itireleng. Boxes with different food lists are available in the Church and Chapel foyer for you to fill and bring back or there is a collection box for you to place single items of non-perishable food.

If you are able to support Ikageng Itireleng in any way, we encourage you to do so.
