SUMMARY:Harvest Festival
DESCRIPTION:It is time for our annual Harvest Festival\, where we create an opportunity for you to give – in a tiny or huge way\, as you can – to serve our community through our different outreaches. \nSunday 8 November | All services \n \nWe invite you to share your harvest. \nPlease join with us in supporting two important initiatives this year: \n1. Trinity Food Pantry Packages – this initiative supports Trinity members who are in need as well as appeals from people in need beyond Trinity who come across our path in some way. The Food Pantry relies on donations received from members as well as an allocation from the Reach Out Portfolio. It is always good to be able to bless our regular recipients with something extra for the month of December. \n2. Jerusalem Day Care – is a registered community-based ECD situated in Maraisburg. The centre was founded in response to a community need for quality early learning and care\, and is guided by a commitment to creating a safe\, caring and nurturing environment in which young children can learn\, play\, develop essential skills and build a strong foundation for their future. Children are fed two meals per day. \nWe are requesting donations of foodstuffs that can supplement what the Day Care is able to buy from income received. A site visit to the premises has confirmed this as a need. \nThis is what we are asking for:\nFood Pantry\nRice\nMealie meal\nSamp\nBeans\nFlour\nLentils\nTinned food: fish; veg; beans\nSalt & Pepper\nSugar\nYeast\nSunflower oil\nCurry powder\nSoup packets\nMilk (long life)\nTea\nCoffee\nPeanut butter\nJam\nJelly \nFor the creche:\nMabela porridge\nOats\nMielie Meal\nOros\nPeanut Butter\nSoya Mince\nRice\nSpaghetti\nLong Life Milk \nThank you so much!
