Rule of Life Sermon Series
What is a rule of life?
A rule of life is the discipline we decide to take for ourselves. Someone has described a rule of life for each person as “the least you can do in a day for God”. This means that each one of us makes a personal rule of what we will decide to do. Keeping a rule of life is a way of growing closer to God and renewing our commitment to Jesus every day.
What does a rule of life include?
a rule of life generally includes:
Prayer: Decide how often and how long you pray.
Bible: Decide how often and how much or how long we read.
Worship: Decide how often you will attend worship in church
Communion: Decide how often you will go to Holy Communion
Work: Decide how you are going to work for the Lord
Study: Decide how much time you will spend on study.
Giving: Decide how much of your time, energy, gifts and possessions you will.
In this series we seek to encourage people never to weary of doing good; encourage faithful believers to live out a growing relationship with God in Christ in their daily life; emphasize the Importance of walking with Jesus every day; help Christians Glorify God through our daily life.
