An annual pop-up event for children and families. In recent years we have become aware of three things in our community:
- during the school holidays many children have nowhere to go for fun and fellowship,
- entertainment that is offered by malls and other companies is expensive and often far away,
- children spend time with other family or helpers who would love an activity to do with the children. Out of this was born the Pop-up Play Place.
Once a year, when there are no holiday clubs running at neighbouring churches we open up Trinity’s church property and host free activities and entertainment for children. These activities range from craft mornings, a petting zoo, magician shows, science experiment mornings, jumping castles, movement sessions and a whole lot more.
We ask that an adult accompany children to join in the activities or be there to watch them. Any adult can accompany a child or children – parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, nannies or friends! If you are working from home, why not bring your kids to be entertained and work from the Pop-up Play Place instead.
