The Kingdom Consciousness Movement is, at its heart, the Kingdom of God as taught and led by Jesus.

In “Missing Jesus? Finding the Shepherd we Lost” John Wessels introduces the term ‘Kingdom Consciousness Movement’ to invite us to embrace a new way of thinking and behaving — a Kingdom Consciousness that permeates every aspect of our lives. This Kingdom Consciousness is the genuine power of a Christian in any era.

Embraced as a Trinity Methodist Church initiative, the Kingdom Consciousness Movement answers our call to deepen our prophetic ministry and awaken Christians to the Gospel’s contextual implications found in Jesus’ Kingdom teachings.

This Movement provides organization, strategy, inspiration, support, partnering, and networking across Southern Africa for the following purposes:

• Promoting a focus on the Kingdom of God amongst churches, parachurches, and Christians.
• Promoting Kingdom of God focussed disciple-making as offered through the ‘Missing Jesus? Finding the Shepherd we Lost’ resources.

THE ‘MASSIVELY TRANSFORMATIVE PURPOSE’ OF THE KINGDOM CONSCIOUSNESS MOVEMENT IS:
To awaken faith in the Kingdom of God in Southern Africa, thereby stimulating Jesus-led pathways out of our multiple crises.
