Worship the King. Grow the Kingdom

“And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and people.”

Luke 2:52

The Trinity Library is not just a resource of the church, it is a place of growth and a discussion starter.

If you are looking for material to use in your Home Group; if you are looking for a good Christian Fiction book to read; if you are researching a question of faith; or just looking for spiritual guidance, then the library is the place to go!

The Trinity Library is open and available for all our members on Sundays after services as well as any day of the week during office hours. Use the table and chairs in the library to read or check the book out to read at home.

Using the Library

Books, DVD’s and CD’s are divided into broad subject categories, which are colour coded and then alphabetised by the author’s surname.

If the book/DVD/CD is on the list, but you cannot find it on the relevant shelf, fill in an Enquiry Slip, and place it in the box marked ISSUE CARDS and RETURNED BOOKS. We will do our best to track down the item for you.

How to borrow from the library

Check the Category

Once you have found the author and/or title you are looking for, you will be able to see which category it is in.

Find it on the shelf

Fill in the yellow card

Put your card in the box

Place the card in the box in the library marked ISSUE CARDS and RETURNED BOOKS.

When you return a book/CD/DVD simply place it in the same box.

The preferred loan period is one month. You can keep it a bit longer, unless someone else is waiting to borrow it. Please do not keep anything for longer than 3 months.

Small Group Resources material

If you need Small Group Resources, please contact the church office to request these from Londeka’s office. This material is primarily for the use of the home groups.

Library funding

We believe that if we are to be a relevant and faithful resource to Trinity we must engage with up-to-date and relevant books and materials. Without having to rely solely on donations and church funds, the Trinity Library volunteers sell second hand books of all kinds on Market Sundays to raise money to buy new titles to add to the library. This means we are able to regularly add good books to the library, so make sure you check out new titles often.

We are also glad to take any suitable second hand books/CD’s/ DVD’s donated to Trinity to add to the library collection. Donations can be left in the office during the week, or placed in the BOOK DONATIONS box in the library.
