After running the New Testament Survey Course last year, we are running the Old Testament Survey Course in 2026.
You can join this course at any time. You do not have to have attended the course last year.
While many Christ followers (i.e. Christian believers) are convinced of the trustworthiness of the Scriptures as a whole, and take time to read isolated portions of the Scriptures regularly or occasionally, there is, generally speaking, difficulty in seeing the ‘big picture’ as to how the various parts contribute to the whole.
To remedy this perceived need, a course series is proposed covering the scope of the Old Testament, in five parts (or modules):
- a) First Module: Introduction to the Old Testament and the Pentateuch (Genesis to Deuteronomy)
- b) Second Module: Historical Books (Joshua to Esther)
- c) Third Module: Wisdom Literature (Job to Song of Solomon)
- d) Fourth Module: Major Prophets (Isaiah to Daniel)
- e) Fifth Module Minor Prophets (Hosea to Malachi)
This course will run on Tuesday evenings, and Module 1 starts on Tuesday 3 February | 6.30pm
